Okay, so I need to update all of my tumblr followers (who probably don’t care anyway, but whatever) about my Chicago life!
It’s been pretty great so far. Although it may look it if you were one of my roommates. They probably think I’m a nerdy loner. They’re constantly going to dorm parties that are rumored to have beer (They don’t, I already know this) while I stay at home to read, play Tekken„ or browse the internet. My only excuse is that I get up early to go to Columbia’s Week of Welcome events so I’m always exhausted by night. I felt that I had to explain myself to someone.
I haven’t made any friends yet, besides my AWESOME roommate, Torree. (evenly matched in Tekken and the chillest guy ever.) My other two roommates are cool too!
Just came from a job interview that I believe went very well. I’m competing against alot of other applicants, though. I’m just going to keep my fingers crossed! (Hence the tie)
So, I haven’t made any friends yet, the week of welcome events involve me standing around shyly (Though this expression makes me look like a snob) and I spend my nights lounging in my dorm room. I’m completely happy, though. I’m explore the city by morning and relax and have wonderful alone time at night.
Yes, sir, this is the life.
